Tuesday, May 20, 2008 A remarkable phone call from a 12-yr old boy to Huston radio station KSBJ FM89.3. Boy: Hey Mike can i talk to you? Mike: You bet logan wassup? Boy: Hmmm... i wanna tell you something that God just told me.. Mike: okay? Boy: last night my dad was roping this calf... Boy: and this calf had been born from a really old cow... Boy: she, she didn't have really... the greatest milk Boy: she didn't have like the vitamin C and stuff... (sniffs). Mike: okay? Boy: hold on... mum... Mike: So cute i guess his mom is talking to him... Boy: i'm talking right now i'll be up in a second. Boy: sorry bout that but anyways... Boy: she broke her back and... Boy: this morning i went out and put her down myself Boy: i was talking to god and ask God why? Boy: She was special... Boy: and God said "you know logan, my son was special..." Boy: "...but he died for a purpose..." Boy: its kind of the same, this calf was close to me.. Boy: and God's son was close to Him Mike: Logan, you're so right, it's true. Mike: think you're gonna be okay? Boy: yea i'll be fine... Boy: but i just wanted to tell you guys that... Boy: that it's so important.. Boy: Just remember when you lose a loved one or a pet... Boy: always remember that God give His son too... Boy: and he understands, he will always understands... Boy: he will always, just run to Him. Mike: Logan, you're wiser than you know buddy. Boy: Well sometimes i don't think i'm wise. Boy: ah trust me i've done alot of stupid stuff. Boy: BUT i've learnt from it Mike: yea but see buddy, that's what makes you wise.
